I need to share a common calendar and contacts amongst my 5 user network.

Any alternatives other than Exchange?

Hi Milly !

Great site!

I've tried a couple of those. This ain't an easy thing to do, I tell ya !
I never got 4teams product to install correctly and the developer really
didn't seem to care. I've been working with WorkGroupShare for the past week.
I got the calender to share, but the contacts list from the admin has never
shared with any of the clients on this network, and its frustrating. The WGS
folks in London have been super. I'm going to take a look at Public
Sharefolder and see what that looks like then give it a spin.

This is a major issue with small networked professional offices, such as
lawyers. They need a common calendar, contacts manager and task manager
without going the Exchange route.

I hope Office development works on this and sees it as an awesome
opportunity- before someone else gets it right.

Hi Harry:
( dear god if my kids thought I was taking to the Harry Potter...)LOL.

So whats your experience been with this software. Harry ?

Im looking at that right now.Its looking better because it uses a common
PST which might solve some of my problems. Its trial provisions are goofy
since it shuts down every 4 hours which means the clients have to shut down
and disconnect from the server which has to restart so the clients can
reattach. And I have to jump through these hoops just so I can test this for
my clients. Oh please.
