Shared Calendar Question

Is there a way to make an appt/meeting private on a shared calendar?

I only want to be able to see the appt....not anyone else

No. The point of Shared Calendars is just that - they are shared. You can
set permissions for the whole folder so only certain people see the calendar
by selecting File/Folder/Properties/Permissions.
