Shared calendars - detaching??

D

Dave Dahle

Hello out there!

We have a user on our network who had access to several co-workers'
calendars when he was working in one division.

This user has transferred to a different division and no longer needs access
to these calendars and is unable to detach these.

How do we do so?

"Unable to detatch?" Not sure what that means, exactly. What version of
Outlook is he using? Have you gone into the Exchange Server service
properties and made sure he isn't still opening those mailboxes as
additional mailboxes (Advanced Tab)?

We already had our sysadmin check it out from the Exchange side then
remembered that it had to be done from the user's PC.

Nothing to do with mail - this has to do with calendar sharing.

This user can go to file > open > the co-workers' calendars.

He no longer needs access to these co-workers' calendars and wants to know
how to disconnect/detach/unlink/whateveryawannacallit these calendars from
his Outlook menu.

On the Outlook bar? Just right-click the shortcuts there and delete them.
