Greetings:
We are looking to begin using the Shared Project Workspace
in Phase II of our Project Server 2003 implementation.
There are a couple of aspects of this that I see as
potentially problematic given some other issues we've
encountered with the system so far.
Our intent is to use the Shared Workspace for each project
to replace our current shared drive directory structure
for managing project documentation as well as risks,
issues, etc.
However, one of the workarounds we've been using to deal
with these irritating spooler errors we encounter is to
save the project offline, delete it from the database,
then republish.
The problem here would be in either deleting the Shared
Workspace (which would theoretically be populated with
documentation and information we would not want to lose)
and losing the information in it, or deleting the project
but not the workspace - in that case, is it possible to
republish the project and then relink it to the shared
workspace from the original version of the project?
Any ideas or information on this scenario would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
SBelling
