Shared workbook - active worksheet view

Hi

We have a workbook consists of various worksheets that is shared and updated by all members of the department. The problem is, everytime a member other than the original author of the workbook opens it, it always open in the first worksheet at the time the file was created. It never gets to open in the current active worksheet when you open the file. Did we miss anything

Any help is greatly appreciated

One thing I'd like to say, is that sharing workbooks is an unreliable feature of Excel.
I always advise against doing that, because I have heard too many reports about loss of
data and corruption of workbooks.
Sharing data in a multi user environment is best done with e.g. Access.
