Hi,
you can certainly link 2003 and 2003 versions, as well as 2007-2007, but not
100% sure about 2003 and 2007. If you have SharePoint 2007 around - you can
try - menu file-get external data-import or link

Hi,

Where and how do I attempt to do this? I've never tried linking to
sharepoint before. Do I go in there via Access? If so....how do I point to
my sharepoint survey? (Do i need to do something to that survey in
sharepoint first?)

Thanks!

Thanks Alex. I tried doing this and I got the following error message:

"The site you specified does not support importing data to a [name of my
database] database. The site must be running Windows SharePoint Services
from Microsoft."

What does this mean?

Thanks,
MN

Hi,
then looks like Access 2003 does not read SharePoint 2007. Let me ask other
guys, will come back to you

menu file-get external data-import or link, select Windows Sharepoint
services, then enter sharepoint server address, and then you will get a
list
of available tables to link, your survey should be there

Hi again!
It was confirmed:
I just linked to a SharePoint 2007 list from a new Access 2003 database. I
then created a form and edited one of the records. I can see the changed
value after refreshing the SharePoint page.

so make sure that you have connection to SharePoint and entered correct
address

Hi!

I tried again, this time from a blank database. Does it matter if the
sharepoint site is "https" and not "http" ? Because it's still giving me
the same error. :(

Thanks
