Because our users want to see the list record ID displayed in the
single form view, I created a calculated field (single line of text)
that's basically =[ID].
It works fine -- when you click on the item to view the single record,
the field shows the record ID on the form (let me know if there's
another way to do this by the way).
Well, by golly, once you edit that record in any way and save it back
to the database, that calculated field displays a 0 (zero) when the
record is viewed UNTIL I go back in and resave the formula I entered to
begin with. Then it displays the actual value of the ID field
correctly.
This is very strange -- -please help. I'd appreciate it.
