SharePoint grouping on InfoPath Multi-Selection Merged values????

I have a InfoPath 2007 Form with a multi-select checkbox that feeds
into a SharePoint list. I need to group that list on SharePoint by
the values of the multi-selection box.

For example:

Region: Midwest, West, East, North

It comes into SharePoint as one merged value, but I need to have it
seperated out for Group By on the list... any thoguhts?
