Sharepoint list data to InfoPath form?

Any recommendations for a website or book chapter that breaks down the
possible ways to get information from a SharePoint List to an InfoPath form?

I'd like to do something like a web service and data connection, but not be
restricted to the number of items in a view. So hoping someone can steer me
to good explanations of the pluses and minuses of what can be done to get
data from SharePoint lists into InfoPath forms, something like online webpage
tutorials or walk-throughs of what approaches are possible and their
advantages/disadvantages.

Thanks!

There's a specific article at the microsoft infopath site that discusses this.
It is at < http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath/HP011002661033.aspx >.

However, I know I have just ran into a problem today with trying to do this.
I had a SharePoint list with a few columns. Most of the columns showed up in
the InfoPath 2007 data connections wizard as columns to make available.
However, one column did not.

Only after quite a bit of trial and error did I discover that in my case, if
my column was of type "people or group" AND the column had the property of
permitting multiple people to be specified, THEN that column could not be
made available via the Data Connection.

This is a painful situation for me, because I need to be able to specify
more than one person. Right now, I am planning on working around it by
creating several single person columns.
