Sharepoint, MS Access link is Infopath required

My company is just now starting to utilize Sharepoint, there is a stong
desire to link forms in Sharepoint to a MS Access Departmental Database where
we store and edit work load inventory. If I create a form in Sharepoint
using Infopath to link to the standalone Access Database table(s), can a user
edit the form on a machine that does not have InfoPath? Or will we need to
install InfoPath on all machines that will access and edit the same form in
Sharepoint.
