SharePoint Permissions - Adding/Removing Resources to a Project Pl

1. When a new resource is added to a project plan, does an Admin always have
to "Synchronize" the site? (Republishing the project plan does not seem to
automatically add the resource to the SharePoint site.)

2. If a resource is removed from a project plan, it seems republishing the
project plan does not remove the resource from the SharePoint site. How can
this be done?

I assume you're using Project Server 2003 with WSSv2.

I would recommend you to have the PM assign each resource to a dummy task.
With this assignment the team member will get access to the project
workspace - being on the project team is not enough, an assignment is
needed.

I would tie this to a Milestone task at the end of the project to not
interfere with updates and work values.
