Sharepoint Permissions

I have users in Project Server 2003 that have limited permissions. I have it
set up in Project where a Sharepoint site is automatically created. However,
I need those same low-level Project users to be able to add documents to any
and all schedules - regardless if they have an assignment in that schedule or
not. I can manually go in to a sharepoint site after it is created by
project and then update that user to Sharepoint's "Contributor" access.
But, this is hit and miss and I don't always know when a new schedule has
been placed out there.

1. Can I update all sites, now and in the future, to give users
"Contributor" level permission?
2. If not, how can I add that "Contributor" permission automatically as the
sites are created by Project?

Hi CQ,

One way would be to give your team members sufficient rights in Project
Server. (e.g. access to all project) This would ensure that they have the
ability to open and contribute to each workspace.
This would of course mean that the team member have access to all projects
and for obious reasons some organisations dont want like it for security
reasons.

Alternatafely, I believe that you can change the perimission in a project
workspace ( which you have done in the past) , save it as a template and
import this as the new Project Server template, but I have not tried this!!.
If you have a test environment, you may want to try. This may solves the
problem.
