I have SharePoint and Project Server installed on the same machine. I
have managed to instantiate Full Text Search for documents on the
SharePoint site and on Project Server, but, I cannot seem to search for
these documents from one site or the other.
For example: if I have some indexed documents on the Project Server,
shouldn't I be able to go to the SharePoint main site and search and
find those docs? I can't - I have to be in the Shared Documents folder
of the specific project for the search to work. What configuration am
I missing? Do I need Portal Server to do a global document search? It
doesn't seem right that I cannot search for any document no matter what
folder it is in.
