SharePoint Team Svcs and Exporting Event to Calendar

Hello:

When opening an event from the STS calendar, the link is
to : javascript:ExportItem('event.ics'); From IE,
clicking on this link successfully imports the event
time/location info into the Outlook Calendar dialog box.
But in NS 4.79, it just brings up a web browser screen
containing what looks like a dialog box with a green title
bar with the event info, as follows:

Published Event (this is the green title bar)

Would anyone have any clue as to what needs to be done
here to get the .ics working with NS? I know NS is able
to open the Outlook dialos since it works on other sites
where the link is the .ics file directly, not
javascript:ExportItem('event.ics');
