I have been piloting MS Project Server 2003 and SharePoint Services
2003 on a Windows 2003 server, that had an old name not indicative of
what we were piloting.
We are going live with SP and ProjectServer so I wanted to rename the
server. I successfully renamed the server and then spent about an hour
changing registry entries, fixing the SharePoint content and
configuration database pointers, etc,etc. I knew it would not be easy
but I am back with my same environment under a new name.
The only thing left that does not work are the SharePoint Web Parts,
they still seem to be pointing to the old server name. Is there a
registry entry I can edit or is there a re-install piece for just the
Web Parts. I got this far without re-installing everything so I hope I
can just find one last fix for this minor problem and be done with it
