SharePoint Workspace 2010 Beta and Grooveclean.exe

B

bzrdhd

I upgraded a test instance of Groove 2007 to the SharePoint Workspace 2010
client. I seem to be able to access old workspaces (at least back to Groove
3.1, provided the 3.x workspaces do not include any 3rd-party tools). I had
trouble sending a message to a contact, however, which prompted me to attempt
to run Grooveclean.exe, just to make sure my client was communicating
properly with our relay servers. I haven't been able to locate
Grooveclean.exe or any command that seems to be comparable to it. Assuming
that my upgrade ran properly and is complete, is there anything equivalent to
Grooveclean.exe in the SPWS 2010 client?

Thanks.

Grooveclean is still available in SPW2010.
But it is not a separate tool anymore.

In a command window, navigate to "c:\program files\microsoft
office\office14"
And then write "groove /clean"

BE CAREFUL : To use the former grooveclean, you had to ensure that your
Groove application was totally shut down (windows AND process). You have to
do the same with this new way to call this tool.
