Unfortunately, no. I rely almost entirely on the SDK materials (both the
..Net SDK and the SharePoint SDK), and Google is my home page.
Also do I need to develope on a
machine running Windows Server 2003? I'm assuming yes because I need to
have
Sharepoint on the system, correct?
You can install WSS on either Windows 2003 Server or on Windows XP Pro. I
believe the 2003 Server version has a lot more functionality. But for
developing and testing WebPart Controls, XP Pro is fine.
