Hi all
I really need advice on sharing a database.
I have a db with linked tables to a SQL server locally on my machine.
It works fine for me. I run queries and reports on it and have no
problems at all.
I want to share this db with other users. I copied the mdb file to a
shared directory on our network (full access for everyone). When the
users open it, it opens, but when I want to run queries I get ODBC
errors. I've set up an ODBC connection on one of the user's machines
(exactly the same as on my one), but still get the same problem.
I think it has to to with the fact that I'm linking tables. Is there
any way that I can share this database without all these problems?
Cheers
