Sharing a notebook on XP with a Vista machine

I've never had a problem in that past sharing OneNote notebooks between XP
machines. But now I have a Vista laptop and I can't figure it out.

I have OneNote 2007. The notebooks are resident on an XP machine and I want
to share them with a Vista machine. The notebooks are synchronizing fine with
my old XP laptop. The Vista laptop doesn't see them.

File sharing seems to be working. I can see all the notebook folders on the
XP machine from the Vista laptop.

What am I missing?

To quote that famous computer genius, Homer Simpson, "D'oh!" Problem solved.

It's been so long since I created a new shared notebook, I forgot that you
have to actually open the notebook on the remote computer first.

I'm an idiot! Sorry for the post.
