Sharing and back-up issues .........

Hi guys,

I need to share my database on the company network with initially about
6(ish) people and
I have already set-up workgroups and permissions (on my pc). What is
the best / easiest way to let them access the database? Can I just copy

the security file and install it on each of their pc's ??

Also, What is the best easiest way to back-up this data? I have not
split the database, but set usergroups to restrict permissions for
everyone. Do I just copy the file each day and save a copy elsewhere?
I'm just worried about not having a back-up without all the security
incase we get locked out!

Thanks for your help :)

Split the database. leave the back end on the server. Distribute the
FE. Otherwise you're just asking for trouble. You can copy the DB
when everyone is out of it anywhere you want.
