Sharing BCM contacts and linking items to records

I am new to BCM and had read that in the 2003 version you could not share
your BCM and continue to link items to individual contacts. I'm now running
on 2007 and would like to be able to share my BCM with certain users, but
want to retain the ability to link items (emails, etc.) to the individual
contacts.

Am I able to do that in BCM 2007?

Thanks for the help!

I may not be answering this right because I am not 100% sure of th
question, but...

First you have to share your database to give users access. See Threa
: http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=28626

Then under a new contact go to the very top and press the little dow
arrow on the quick access tool bar. Add Attach, and Forward to th
quick access tool bar, they will be there for all contacts now.

With these on you can easily attach files to a contact, also you can t
go new history items and "Forward" history items, this places the sen
item as an attached email in the history.

You can also attach emails to a contact by dragging and dropping an
use the link to record, and email auto-link but these are onl
configurable while you are in your local files
