Sharing contacts/calendar

I just setup a little network at the office of XP Pro / Office XP machines.
Is it possible for all the users to share the contacts or calendar without
an Exchange Server? I haven't been able to find this in Microsoft's KB.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Thank you.
I have an older machine running Win2000 Server. Can that do any "contacts"
serving for Outlook?

Not natively but there are third party tools that can;

I just downloaded Share Outlook. But it that proves to be insufficient for
our purposes, I will probably invest in Windows 2003 Small Business Server
which has Exchange Server built in. Isn't that right?
If you have a more efficient suggestion, please offer it. Thank you.

SBS is a good solution indeed. You can then also offer remote access to
mailboxes as well. For system requirements see;
