sharing databases

I am sharing a database over a workgroup - local machines have a copy of the
database with tables linked to replicated database residing on a common
shared machine.

I have mapped appropriate network drives on local machines. Everything was
working fine but now all of a sudden, unbound combo box with a linked table
as the data source, will not dislay contents. the data is evidently there as
i can scroll up and down the combo box options, but cannot see what is
currently selected.

Some local machines work fine, others not. All machines use XP proffessional.

Any ideas?

Thanks for reply Rick

I have checked - the machine is already on Office SP3

Exact details are:

Microsoft Office Access 2003 (11.8166.8202) SP3

I have also checked on Microsoft Update - the machine in question is totally
up to date with no updates available.

am i looking in the right place for the correct patch?

Regards
