I have Micro. Excel for Mac 2008 and have created a document but when I send it to Windows users, they cannot open it. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing probably. Do the Windows users get an error? If so which one? Ask
them to Open Excel, and then try File-Open. Does that work? How are you
sending the file? Does the file have an .xls extension?

Hi,

My guess is the Windows users have Office 2003.

You can use File > Save As and choose to save in .xls format for 97
through 2004, or they can install the free converter from Microsoft.
