Sharing Mail Folders in Outlook 2003

James

I can not seem to get others on my LAN to see a mail folder that I
have created in Outlook 2003 (Called "JG Mail") having assigned those
people rights to share the emails in it. - I believe that the
procedure is for them to: File >Open> Other User's Folder - Then to
select M<e as a user and choose the SAhared folder from the drop-down
list of folders below my name - Trouble is that thge only options
available in the dropdown list are: "Calender", "Contacts", "Inbox",
"Journal", "Notes2 and "Tasks". No sign of the folder I created. -
If I give them Rights to see my Inbox and they select inbox from the
dropdown list then they can see all my inbox emails - but this is no
good... Any ideas?

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File |
Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant Reviewer
permission to the root of the mailbox, as well as appropriate permission on
the folder.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | E-mail Accounts or Tools |
Services (depending on the Outlook version), brings up the properties for
the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.
