Sharing one Note

I use One note on my Tablet laptop running windows 7 / One note 2007, and
share with my desktop running win XP/ one note 2007. When the page is
created on the tablet, it has the pen fuctionality, but when page is created
on the desktop PC and opened on the tablet, the functionality for the pen is
not part of the page. Is there a way to add the pen fuctionality to the one
note page when it is created on the desktop PC?

Try Windows key + V on your keyboard,that should get your pen tool back.

That appeared to do the trick, is there a way to add the lines to the page as
it is when the page is created on the tablet?
