Hi I followed the instructions posted in this newsgroup regarding
accessing one outlook.pst file on Outlook2003 on two computers but I
am having one problem.
I marked the directory shared on my desktop where outlook.pst resides
and then I mapped a drive ( drive z
on my laptop to that shared
folder.
I updated Outlook2003 on my laptop to point to that drive z: and file
outlook.pst.
The problem that I am having is that everytime I boot up on the laptop
and connect the very first time I get an error message 'The path
specified for the file z:\outlook.pst is not valid'- then it opens up
a create/open folder dialog box with the outlook.pst file sitting in
the z:\ directory.
I click on that file and I am fine. I could shut down outlook and it
will load properly. If I disconnect and reconnect my connection I will
have to repeat the above procedure each time.
BTW in the create/open folder dialog the ' look in' box has-
Outlookpst on 'my den (Home)' (z
Is this the problem?
Any Suggestions?
