Sharing Resources between different projects

Hi,
I have recently started using MS Project Server 2003 with Project Pro
2003.I would want to know if it's possible to make a resource inactive
for one project and active for some other project.
I want this so that the resource should not be able to view the tasks
which (s)he has already completed. Once the task for a project has
been completed, the resource should not be able to view that task and
the project to which that task belongs.
Thus I require the resource to be active for one project at a time
though the project manager should be able to see all the tasks the
resource is working on or has worked on.

What you want to do is not possible. In the Enterprise Resource Pool, a
resource is either active or inactive for all projects. In your situation,
I believe you have a training issue. I would recommend that you teach your
team members how to use the Current Tasks selection in the sidepane on the
left side of the View My Tasks page. A "current task" in Project Web Access
is defined as follows:

1. Any task that should have started by now but has not yet started
2. Any task that has started but is not yet complete
3. Any task set to start within the next 10 days

By this definition, you will see that completed tasks are not considered
current tasks. Hope this helps.
