sharing template macro with mac 2004 users

I have a mailmerge template w/macro that needs to be shared with word mac
2004 users. The data source for the merge is an Excel file that resides in a
server folder unique to each user. Can I code the macro to identify which
platform its running from so I can point the data source to the correct path
for each platform?
