Excel 2003 is operating horribly on my PC. I tried repairing it, which didn't
work. Next came the service pack and updates. All attempts to solve these
problems were futile:
1) Save-as feature very unstable
2) Frequent sharing violations causing me to close and re-open the files
3) For some files I try to open, Excel shows a brief glimpse of the file,
then shuts down. Shows an error message saying it needs to close, then
automatically attempts to reload it. Shows the same "needs to close" message,
and then repairs it, losing all formating.
This is driving me. Please offer a solution if you know of one. Thank you in
