shift lock

I have accidentally locked my shift button. When I try to type "2" I get
"@". How did I lock it? And besides re-booting, how do I unlock it?

Sounds like operating system "Sticky Keys". Go to Control Panel,
Accessibility Options, Sticky Keys, and turn it back off. pressed the
Shift key 5 times in a row perhaps.
