Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I remember that F2 in excel of windows allows you to acces the cell to edit it without having to drag the mouse and double click on the cell to perform this action as I have been doing since now on excel for Mac 2008. is there a way to do the same on my excel in my Mac??
