Shortcut Bar Won't Open

J

JonBoy

Running XP; Office 2000 - shortcut bar will not open or reappear after
reboot. Have uninstalled Office Tools and reinstalled, but bar doesn't open
at all. The msoffice.exe file will not even open clicking it directly. Could
it be something in my registry?

Hi Jonboy,

If you're not getting an error when you run MSOffice.exe
it's possible that the Shortcut Bar is off screen.
Right click on the Windows taskbar and choose 'cascade'
and see if it reappears.
