Shortcut Bar

The office where I work has upgraded to Office Professional 2003. I located
the folder that contains a file named shortcut bar. However, the folder does
not allow me to install. I have been using the shortcut bar since it first
started and am lost without it. Can someone please tell me what did they do
with it?

Thank You,

Cindy

Are there any shortcuts in that Shortcut Bar folder?

If so, all you need to do is create a new toolbar on the desktop, using the
folder as the source area.

If not, create your own folder with the shortcuts you want, and then create
a new toolbar on the desktop and use that folder you created for the Office
shortcut.

Remember to play around with the Show Text and Show Title options for the
new toolbar, to your liking.

I know exactly how you feeld. Microsoft removed the ShortCut bar a while ago.
You have 2 choices:

* Follow the directions from this article to create a "Windows" toolbar

*Use a program designed for this. I use Object Dock and love it

The JetAudio Toolbar is another good alternative
