I am running 2003Office xp. I do not what I did recently, the office short
cut icon is not visible on my screen. I have to go to start to open a
program. I have reinstalled xp without luck. I have pulled word and the exel
on the desktop. But I like to have all the shortcut icons as part of the
office.

Another item, whenever I close Outlook or open Word - I get a message "The
macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to ...........enable
macros." I serched this sitewithout any luck. How do I enable macros?

In Word, in the "Type a question for help" box, type "enable macros." The
second hit in the results pane ("Change the security level for macro virus
protection") is the one you want.
