Shortcut menu

I know I can make a custom menu and a custom toolbar. But what about a
custom shortcut menu? I routinely do this in other applications. What about
FrontPage?

Got it, thanks.

I stumbled across an interesting article in KB (#286426) "How to turn off
right-click functionality in IE". This is an interesting alternative for me
on this particular Intranet project. Rather than making a custom shortcut
menu, I may be disabling them altogether. Since the requirement is to
eliminate certain actions from this internal site -- hence the need for
custom menus and disabling certain shortcut keys -- turning off the action
may be a quick fix for me.

Any down side to this idea?

It won't stop people from getting the information from the view source, and
the pages are already downloaded into their temporary internet files. They
can get what they want.

Yes, I had thought about the Temporary Internet Files. Do you think an
OnClose event with delete instructions would help that?

Loved the DigitalMidget piece. As I explained to my Dept Head who made this
request, trying to keep things secure is a whole industry in and of itself.
If someone really wants to abuse something, they'll find a way. Locks are
only there to keep honest people honest.

Well, looks like the best I can do is throw up as many barriers as possible.
This is an INTRAnet application for a not-too-sophisticated user group, so I
hope by disabling some of the obvious points of entry I can slow down the
unapproved activities.
