Shortcuts in Outlook Business Manager not wokring

Hi.
We have some employees that use contact manager with Outlook 2007. Creating
new contacts goes fine and also sharing them. But on the right side you have
the letters A-Z or similar that works as a shortcut. Pressing one of these
should take you to a view of your contacts starting with this letter. But it
doesn't. The first time you click on a letter it just show some random
contacts. And after that none of them give you a result at all. I gave
checked that there isn't any diasbled addons in Outlook. Anyone have any idea
?

Not sure, but it can be related to an Outlook view.

The contacts can be arranged by a different field, so a pseudo-random
order might actually make sense.

View -> Current View -> Customize Current View

Check what is the "Sort..." set to. It should say File As. If your File
As settings are correct for your contacts, that should be sufficient,
but test it with other values.

Hi.
Funny thing....If thy change the current view and choose to sort by company
name they are able to use the shortcut with the letters on the right side.
Everything seems normal. But as soon as they changeto theur mail and then
back again the view is back to default and the same problem again. Is there a
way to permanently save the view where you choose to sort by company name ?

OK, so this suggestion works?

Good, now we just need to make it stick.

View -> Define Views. Modify whichever view you wish to use for this.
