Shortcuts keep disappearing from the shortcut list?

Please help!! I have searched high and low and cannot find this solution on
any forums or threads. I have several admin. assistants who have shortcuts
set up to other user's calendars, contacts, inboxes, etc. The shortcuts keep
disappearing! I am not crazy, at least I don't think. I have checked the
delegate permissions and have given each user "Owner" rights over each
other's mailbox. I cannot resolve this one on my own....please help.
