Should client calendars update in Outlook using an IMAP setup?

I have IMAP set up for my Outlook 2003 email. All works fine in that my mail
folders all synch up ok between client pc's.
But if I set up calendar entries on one pc, these don't update or synch up
on other pc's. Should they? or is it a design limitation?

OK thanks Diane. I guess the same applies to updating Contacts as well then?

IMAP (Internet _Message_ Access Protocol) is a mail-only protocol.
