Should everyone apply SP1 on MSP2K7 Server?

I'm a fan of details for the typewritten word so:
SP1 for PS2007 requires SP1 for SharePoint. Depending on the number
and state of your SharePoint sites, the automatic configuration of SP1
for SharePoint may take some time, and may fail if there are orphaned
items in your SharePoint sites. If the configuration fails, Project
Server will not work until you either fix the errors and get the
Configuration to complete or restore to a pre-sp1 backup of your
application servers and databases.
