Should I post to newsgroups in text format?

Hi:
Sorry to keep posting.
I inquired about Confirmation pages, and used html format because I thought
it would make my questions more discernable.
However, when I post using html format, I get a warning that some newsgroups
can't read html.
Should I always post using text format?
