Should I Uninstall XP prior to installing 2003

I have a full version of Office 2003 and was wondering if
it would be better to uninstall office XP prior to
installing Office 2003.

Any thoughts?

If you want to save all your settings, templates, emails etc then go
with the upgrade by leaving the old version on and overwritng it
