Should I use Publisher or Word for creating my first website?

Hello,

I am creating a website for the first time. It is for a graduate
course, and will not actually be "uploaded" to the world wide web.

Do any of you have any advice as to which software I should use? I have

the choice of either Publisher 2003 or Word .. I am looking for ease of

use, but also want the site to look decent, as I will be graded on it.

Thanks for any help!

ps I noticed that there is no longer a wizard for creating web pages in

word .. is there one for Publisher 2003?

Like I said in the other newsgroup - NEITHER. Use a real web design program.

(And please don't multi-post.)

I would recommend neither. However, if your assignment stipulates one or the
other, choose Publisher. If you have the option of using other software and
can't afford FrontPage, then try Nvu. It's a free open source program
available from http://www.nvu.com

If your prof only offers these choices, report him to the dean as being
too stupid to teach.

What Mike may not have considered is that if this was a religious
course, you have three unique options:

1. Stoning
2. Burning at the stake
3. Exile to America, Patmos, etc.

Plead for mercy, and request that you be able to use a web publishing or
web design program, and pretend that there must at least be one computer
on campus that has one of those installed. If not, drop out of school,
report it to the school newspaper, or try to get someone fired. Word and
Publisher can convert to HTML, but that is not their native language.

The correct answer?
C. None of the above.
