You can select menu Tools => Options, then select the tab View and then
Formulas...

Hi Confused,
I actually make very little use of Ctrl+` (char to left of number row)
to view formulas also available from tools, options, view, formulas

I personally find that I don't need to see all of the formulas,
just a few representative formulas is usually all I want to see,
but perhaps for an entire column as well. The formulas make
a lot more sense if you show them in additional cells or columns
on your worksheet. see user defined function GetFormula at
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/formula.htm

In fact I make so much use of it that I have context menu item
to help me set it up in a cell, between
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/rightclick.htm
and the fill handle to copy use of GetFormula down a column
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/fillhandle.htm
I can get a much better grasp on what I'm doing on a page.
