I have a form based on a table that is used for data entry. Is it possible
to have a text box, or series of text boxes, in the footer that will show
the results of what I have entered so far?
Among other things, I will enter the date, employee number, start time, stop
time, and quantity. So once I enter the following, I would like 5/19, 2248
(empl), 1 (hour), 1 (quantity) in the footer.
Date: 5/19
Empl# 2248
StartTime: 1400
StopTime: 1500
Quantity: 1
Next I enter the following:
Date: 5/19
Empl# 2248
StartTime: 1500
StopTime: 1520
Quantity: 2
Because the date is still 5/19 and the Empl is still 2248, I want the time
to update to 1.33, and quantity to update to 3.
Each employee may have ten or more sets of start & stop times and we are
currently having to enter the data then pull a report to verify the accuracy
of what has been entered. I am trying to show a sort of running balance
grouped on employee & date to increase accuracy & improve processing time.
I do have an existing query based on the table if I can access that somehow.
Not sure how to get it to point to "what ever date I entered last & whatever
employee I entered last".
Any comments or advice greatly appreciated. If you need more information,
pls note that I will not be able to look back at this until this evening.
