Show date but not time in file details?

Hello...this may not be possible, but it's worth a try...

I would like to send a bunch of files to someone without having the
"details" in the folder view show the excact time the file was saved. Is
this possible?

I know I can hide the details on my end, but if their folder preferences are
set differently, will the time still show up?

Yes the time will show up. Copy all the files to another folder and then
look at the time. Don't worry about it.
