Show embedded PDF during powerpoint presentation

Using: PPT 2003

I figured out how to embed a PDF file into a PowerPoint presentation;
however, now that I'm trying to show the presentation, I'm unable to click on
the icon to open the PDF during the PowerPoint Show.

How can I access my embedded PDF while showing my presentation?
