The date/time is missing for messages in a group (which I didn't create)
called "Date: None" ONLY when in "Show in Groups" view. If I return to the
Normal view, the date/time shows.
I don't know if this matters, but the message in question contains a Word or
..rtf document that was generated by an application built on the .NET
Framework called Hard Dollar Bid Build or just Bid*Build. I can't see where
the .dot from Bid*Build would have a setting that would cause this view to
happen.
So, to be sure this is clear:
* a message containing an attachment is generated by an application called
Bid*Build (how the document is produced may be irrelevant - just want to be
complete in my explanation of the issue)
* based on Bid*Build's code, the message is sent via the default mail client
* when in Show in Groups view the message is place in a group called "Date:
None" and does not display a time/date
* when the view is changed to Normal, the date/time appears as it should.
Please advise why this would happen.
Thank you.
