show mode

Using Powerpoint 2002. When I click on the slide show view, the task bar at
the bottom of the screen tells me it is working, but it cannot be restored or
maximised. In other words, I can't run a show in full screen mode as I am
supposed to. Is there a bug? I can't right mouse click on the window either.
Nor does F5 work.

Have you tried Detect and Repair?

Go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and under "Display slide show on:" change that to
Primary Monitor.
