I have two pivottables from a third party, one containing historical data, the other containing forecast data. The dimensions and measures are essentially identical. The source data is hidden & protected.
If I drag all the dimensions to the page selectors so that there is a single total item for all the revenue over all the dimensions, and double-click the summary item (or right-click it and select show detail), a new sheet is built with all the underlying data. However, one pivottable generates a column in the new sheet corresponding to each dimension, while the other ignores a couple of the dimensions.
Any thoughts on why this happens?
Thanks for any suggestions - PQ
